Our core team:

• Aleksander Figelj: R&D leader;
• Boštjan Jerman (LinkedIn): CFO and marketing;
• Samo Begič: holder of the patent for a wooden wall made of solid wooden semi-finished products (the basis for the wooden construction of the greenhouse).

Aleksander is a senior IT architect with more than 22 years of expertise in the field of IT and software development, with sales in Slovenia, Germany, and the USA. His collaboration with the Institute Jožef Stefan (IJS), the largest research centre in Slovenia, adds added value to our team. At IJS he is an external partner for IT services and support. He also developed measurement systems at IJS, in addition to its implementation. Aleksander is the founder and director of the company PGMPRO d.o.o., which deals with IT administration and program development.

Boštjan, project manager, brings 15 years of project management and financing schemes experience. As a consultant for Slovenia at United Nations Information Service Vienna, his reach is also international. He twice won the European Union Social Innovation Competition as a mentor and provided public funding for as many as 18 start-ups. At the same time, he also has extensive experience in the field of marketing: project manager for the establishment of a showroom in Saudi Arabia (collaboration with Klun ambienti d.o.o. in 2018 and 2019), establishment of his own showroom in North Macedonia in 2022 (showroom-si-mk.net). He is also the owner and director of the company Heba d.o.o., which has been on Ajpes’ list of fast-growing companies since 2018. The latter acts as a supporting environment for the development, implementation, and financing of various business ideas, with a special emphasis on highly innovative products and services.

An important member of our team is also Samo, who is the innovative soul of this project. He is the holder of the wooden construction patent, with who we have a contract on business cooperation. Samo is a researcher of sonar solutions that bring benefits to the human-user, the economy or society and the ecosystem in the broadest sense of the word. Already during his studies, he began to develop his own products for nutrition and exercise: he patented his special vitamin, mineral and fat food supplement. He developed and intellectually protected his own construction system (European model for three different but related construction systems with wood, a patent with six related patent claims), which combined the advantages of individual construction systems and eliminated the weaknesses. He is employed in the municipality of Nazarje as director of the municipal administration. During his time working at the municipality, he participated as part of the team in many European and other development projects. During this work, he realized the importance of introducing sustainable solutions into all aspects of his life and work.

We also work with an in-house architect and agronomist to ensure the technical perfection and quality of the project.

We are cooperating with agronomist Timotej Hacin, who knows well the optimal conditions for the growth of individual plants, the possibilities of combining them, and will participate in the project in the testing phases and determining the value of individual parameters to establish the automation of a controlled environment. He will also advise on the analysis of the conditions in the greenhouse during the whole season, so that we can prepare the most optimal growing environment. He has work experience in the field of the use of advanced technologies in the production of vegetables in protected areas and in the field of fruit growing and nursery farming.

Architect Robert Mašera has many years of experience in the architecture of various buildings and the management of construction projects. Its role will be important in the developmental adaptations of the structure.
