We have developed a prototype of an innovative passive greenhouse with wooden construction, based on a patent. The latter is a wooden wall made of solid wooden semi-finished products with its basic structural element – a solid wooden slat, which represents an innovative approach to the production of a wooden wall, which is based on the utilization of wooden materials, semi-finished products.
The method of construction with the realization of a wooden wall made of layers of wooden slats with grooves, which are used entirety, including the longitudinal remnants. The elements are assembled like children’s Lego blocks. The passive greenhouse is easy to build, cost effective and can be combined with automation to achieve a controlled environment. We believe that the use of wood in construction is a cost-effective option and sustainable (following FSC sustainable forestry).
